Force and Motion Vocabulary Foldables
Learning Target: Create meaningful descriptions of unit vocabulary.
Assignment:
Create a foldable for each term.
Description: Before writing the description, read the definition given in the
glossary AND read the text refernce given in the glossary. Look at any
figures that accompany the text that help you understand the meaning of the
term. THEN, write your description.
Draw: Create a drawing WITH captions which help clarify the meaning of the
term. Think of captions of what a narrator might say to help you understand
what is happening in the drawing and how it is related to the meaning of
the term. Use COLOR to make the drawing easier to understand.

will make it easier to find information later.
Understanding: Cirlcle the number that best describes you r understanding of the
term. Remember, our goal is to have a 3-Proficient understanding of all
concepts. If you circle 1 (Unsatisfactory) or 2 (Partially Proficient), it is your
responsibility to take steps to improve your understanding to accomplish our
