Candles Part 1: Forms of Energy
LT: I can identify the forms of energy required to make candles.
Each student will make a tallow/beeswax candle that will be used in future lessons as a light source. For the next few activities we'll be in "flashback" mode where we will only use the light from candles or natural light until we "invent" the light bulb.
The notebook entry will focus on the forms of energy that were involved with the process of making the candle.
